This Booking Policy explains how bookings, inquiries, tours, confirmations, and payment-related booking procedures work on SPOD.
By making or accepting a booking through SPOD, users agree to this Booking Policy in addition to the platform’s Terms & Conditions.
Booking Types
Depending on the listing, SPOD may support one or more of the following booking options:
- Instant Book – the booking may be confirmed immediately if the listing allows it
- Request to Book – the booking request is sent to the Space Provider for review and approval
- Request Information / Inquiry – allows a user to ask questions before proceeding
- Schedule a Tour – allows a prospective buyer / guest to request a visit before booking
The available booking options depend on the individual listing.
Booking Requirements
To make a booking or booking request, users may be required to provide:
- Name and contact details
- Booking dates and duration
- Number of people, where relevant
- Intended use, where relevant
- Payment information
- Any other information reasonably required for the booking
Users must ensure that all submitted information is accurate and truthful.
Booking Confirmation
A booking is not considered final until it is confirmed through the SPOD platform.
For request-based bookings, confirmation depends on the Space Provider’s approval and any applicable payment requirements.
SPOD may send notifications, emails, or dashboard updates confirming booking status.
Schedule a Tour
Where available, users may request to schedule a tour of a listed space before booking.
Submitting a tour request does not guarantee availability, approval, or reservation of the space. Tour scheduling is subject to provider approval and coordination through the platform.
Payments
Payments for bookings made through SPOD must be completed through the SPOD platform or designated SPOD payment process.
Users must not bypass the payment process for any lead, listing, inquiry, or booking that originated through SPOD.
If a booking includes recurring, installment-based, monthly, or longer-term payments, the applicable payments must continue according to the booking schedule through SPOD.
Failure to complete required payments may result in cancellation, suspension, restricted access, or other action as permitted under platform rules.
Recurring and Long-Term Bookings
Some spaces may be booked for longer durations, including monthly or other recurring arrangements.
Where such arrangements apply:
- The booking may remain active for the full agreed term;
- Payments may be required in installments or according to the booking schedule;
- The user remains responsible for all applicable scheduled payments unless otherwise resolved in accordance with applicable platform policies.
Availability
All bookings are subject to listing availability at the time of request or confirmation.
Even where a listing appears available, a booking request may be declined due to:
- Scheduling conflicts
- Provider decision
- Verification requirements
- Incomplete information
- Platform or compliance concerns
- Payment issues

Space Providers are responsible for ensuring that the listed space is accurately described and legally available for the offered use.
Legality of Use

The Space Provider and the Space User / Buyer / Guest must independently ensure that the proposed use complies with all applicable:
- Federal laws
- State laws
- Local laws
- Zoning requirements

Space Providers and Space Users must conduct their own due diligence and only proceed where they are comfortable with the arrangement.
Direct Deals Outside SPOD
Any attempt to take a platform-originated booking, lead, or tenant relationship off-platform may be treated as a breach of SPOD’s Terms & Conditions.
All booking-related transactions initiated through SPOD must remain within the SPOD ecosystem where required.
Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation and refund matters are governed separately under the Return & Refund Policy.
Disputes
If an issue arises in relation to a booking, users should first communicate through SPOD.
